Shred Racing Products Press Release / Updated Web Store & New Items!
Shred Racing Products welcomes you to visit our updated website. We have been working diligently to expand our product lines to offer the micro sprint racing community the best value for their racing dollar. We are pleased to announce we are now an authorized dealer for Outlaw Brakes. Below are just a few of the features of the Outlaw 1000 caliper available from Shred Racing Products:
• Billet Aluminum housing design. (Superior in strength to cast calipers).
• Four bolt, multi-ribbed housing. (Increases rigidity and reduces deflection for improved pedal feel).
• Stainless steel deep cup pistons. (Retards heat transfer to brake fluid).
• High temperature, square cut piston seals. (Controls piston retraction for zero drag).
• Internal crossover brake fluid passage. (Eliminates potential crossover tube damage from debris).
We are also the sole industry provider of Sidewinder Chains and front drive sprockets. These Titanium/Moly alloy sprockets are so durable they come with a limited 1 year warranty against breaking or bending teeth!

In addition to Keizer Wheels, Benol, and Rod End Supply, in the last year we have added the following name brand product lines: Amsoil, NGK Spark Plugs, PVL Ignitions, APG Lightweight Fuel Bladders, Walbro Fuel Pumps and Schroeder Torsion Bars. In the near future we will also offer AFCO suspension products, Fragola fuel fittings and hoses, and Beyea Headers.
New products for this year include front and rear drive sprockets, rear axles, axle nuts and spacers, 600 front and rear brake rotors, sprocket and brake carriers, birdcage bearing inserts and more. Custom LANCO calendars now available from SHRED Racing Photos
LANCO Micro Sprint calendars are now available at a cost of $20.00 each plus shipping. The calendars which feature numerous photos from all 5 weekly classes are dated April 2012-March 2013 and measure 8.5"x11" closed and 11"x17" opened. Quality construction printed on heavy cardstock with a spiral binding featuring glossed photo pages and matte date pages for easy jotting of notes and reminders. SHRED Racing Photos Announcement !
We are pleased to announce that Bonnie Goshert has been selected as the new track photographer at LANCO. Bonnie and Curt are both very excited to begin this new venture and to be able to give LANCO racers and fans a quality product at reasonable prices.. A selection of 4x6 photos will be available each Saturday night at the SHRED racing trailer in the pits and if you see something you like additional prints and sizes can be ordered. In the coming weeks SHRED Racing Photos is also planning to begin adding a line of photo novelties in addition to prints. If you have a certain shot or special request for your team please don't hesitate to ask and Bonnie will do everything she can accomodate these requests. Stop by and see us at the track. Introducing American Made Chains
SHRED Racing Products is pleased to announce the addition of Sidewinder brand chains to our growing line of products. All Sidewinder chains are American made and come with a 1 year guarantee against any type of failure...no questions asked, just bring your chain back if you have any problems. Titanium II Series chains (non- oring) are the ultimate in strength with the ability to withstand enormous shock loads and the punishment of severe racing conditions. They also provide the narrowest profile where clearances are a concern. Don't lose horsepower with a chain that will stretch or twist in less than a season. These chains are made of Titanium and have a 10,000 pound tensile strength. (To compare, most DID chains are 6000-8000.) We also carry Sidewinder’s new Smart chain. If you want the absolute best, here it is. Sidewinder's Smart chain is a 12,000 or 16,000 pound tensile strength SELF-LUBRICATING O-ring chain. Their specially made o-rings lubricate as the chain drives reducing friction and heat giving you optimum engine to rear end horsepower! (To compare, most DID chains are 6000-8000lb and are dry o-ring.) There are several benefits to running a higher tensile strength chain. The useful life of any chain directly relates to the tensile strength number. The higher the number, the longer the chain will last, under the same conditions. The higher the tensile rating, the less the chain will stretch and consequently, the less maintenance required to adjust out the resulting slack. The greater the tensile strength the more ability the chain has to resist damage caused by shock loads imposed by hi-impact events in the drive train which means you can feel a little more secure when you pop that wheelie to show off for the fans on your way to victory lane .Here is the most overlooked, hidden benefit of high tensile: If you race long enough, the eventual day will come when a rock of just the right size and shape finds its way in between a chain roller and a sprocket tooth. The higher the chains’ tensile, the better your odds that the rock loses the contest and gets pulverized. You won’t even know it happened. A lower tensile chain has a greater probability of losing the battle to the rock and the chain breaks apart.
